Kangana Ranaut (born 20 March 1987 in Bhambla, Mandi district, Himachal Pradesh, India) is an Indian actress who appears in Bollywood movies.Young Kangana always had a love for acting. She moved to Mumbai with a big dream but had to struggle initially. A chance meeting with director Anurag Basu landed her in Mahesh Bhatt’s 2006 film Gangster.
